Hey Nebojša. Yes, adding the workspace def. after the installation might be the reason. It doesn't matter though, that your class is empty. It inherits the methods from its super class. You can even delete it, if you don't need it (+ remove the line from the module descriptor). Each module has that module version handler per default if no custom one is defined. On the other hand you might want to keep it, it's a really helpful feature :-)
Regarding your question of re-installing: simply delete your module node from the configuration: /modules/<module-name> but make sure to have exported all your configuration beforehand! You don't want to start from scratch. Then restart your server and the module should be reinstalled...
