Hi Eric,

Such requests are protected by the URLSecurity filter.

You have two options:

1) Create some ACLs for the anonymous role (on the public system!) to access 
these URLs. This can be done in the Security App.
2) Add some "bypass" configuration to the URLSecurity filter for the URL 
patterns involved. (In the Configuration app under 
server/filters/uriSecurity/bypasses )
