Hi Jozef, Thanks for your answer. I could locate the problem somewhere else. It wasn't clear to me that I have to set the SMTP-settings on the public instance as well, since I - don't know why - presumed that this is globally on both instances.
So after setting the SMTP on Public as well, all went smoothly.
