Hi,

Open the tomcat conf file server.xml ($TOMCAT_HOME/conf/), find a line which starts with <!-- Define a non-SSL Coyote HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080 --> and edit the line just right after it. That is,
<Connector port="8081" .....

rplace 8081 with the disired port.

thanks Alex and Andre,
I got it working based on your inout and the following advice from my hosting service.

You won't want to do that. There is no line that has Connect port="8080"
OR port="8081", as it has to be port="8208" so Apache can talk to Tomcat
on that port. If you change that line, all of your other sites using that
JVM will become unavailable.

So, since they are asking you to change that line from port 8080 to port
8081, I am guessing that you should just be able to use the port that is
already there, "8208", which IS already available through the firewall.

Phil
