Hi Michi,
that is what my initial comment was about,
so yes - I have tried and it is very slow....
what do mean by slow? Slow on reading a document for instance?
JR performance degrades when the number of nodes rises, so whatever you
do, at some time its slow.
Magnolia Power Pack has linear performance, i.e. its independent of the
number of nodes you store. At the moment thats the best way to go until
Open Source alternatives exist. See
http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/products/magnolia-power-pack.html
for details.
There will also be a yet to be announced Magnolia Power Pack Enterprise
Edition that is clusterable and provides native webDAV, especially
useful for Magnolia for Documents. So the upgrade path is available for
those who need it.
