It's a production system, and I don't want to risk goofing up the repository by changing anything I don't have to, so no.
>From what I've read here, the 2.0.3 repository can become unstable and do things you don't want. I was actually terrified to deploy it, but had faith and did it anyway. I've been lucky. Its never fallen over. My main fear was that clicks would start returning blank pages, but that has never happened. I have a shell script that gzips the templates and repositories and includes the date in the filenames, so will often run a backup before making major changes. This is in addition to whatever backup is done by the network guys. If Magnolia were to fall over, I don't want to have to rely on anyone else to get a working instance going again. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2005 1:35 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [magnolia-user] 2.0.3 - deleted pgraph comes back after login #: Robert Van Overmeiren changed the world a bit at a time by saying on 9/27/2005 9:58 PM :# > Well, I think I took care of it. > > I deleted the new paragraph, and the original one, and added a new one > back, moved it into position. and it seems to be alright. > Are you able to reproduce the problem? ./alex -- .the_mindstorm. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 11:13 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [magnolia-user] 2.0.3 - deleted pgraph comes back after login > > Hello, > > I've been running Magnolia 2.0.3 in production since February, and > have been working with 2.1 in development to eventually upgrade. > > In 'author', I added a new paragraph, and deleted an old one, but the > old one comes back when I log back in. > > Stopping & starting 'author' (tomcat 8081), doesn't help. > > I'm afraid if I activate to public, I'll get stuck with 2 paragraphs > instead of one, which will look bad for me, as well as the org wanting > to continue using Magnolia. > > > How can I fix this? > > Regards, > Bob V > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > for list details see > http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > for list details see > http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > ---------------------------------------------------------------- for list details see http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- for list details see http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html ----------------------------------------------------------------
