Hi Giancarlo, Sorry, for writing that late. I just wanted you to know that this helped me very much!
Thank you, Julia -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Freitag, 30. There you will find all language specific files. If you DO NOT have that folder, you will have to extract it from the magnoliaAuthor.war file I recommend NOT to change any of the language files, since with any update of Magnolia they may be replaced. Instead you want to create your own language specific files. There is an example how the "english" file looks like: "messages_templating_custom_en.properties" In this file you add your key/value pairs for the "english" language. If you want to add additional languages, just copy your "messages_templating_custom_en.properties" and replace the "_en." with your desired language (e.g. "_de." for german). Open your language specific file and translate. After you have adapted any changes, you will have to restart the webserver, because these changes are not recognized automatically. Keep in mind that above is valid for the Author instance, which usually is fine, since the admin stuff will not show up in the Public instance. But if you want your script to translate messages like "Search results", than don't forget to copy the language files to the Public instance. does that help? /giancarlo Julia.Rabai wrote: >Hi Chris! > >Thank you, but I wanted to know, where the file is, where the translation is >written down. > >For example, a file where is written: >"Configuration = Konfiguration;"... >Or something like that. > >Do you know, where I can find such a file? > >Thanks for help > > >-----Original Message----- >From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Freitag, 30.
