Hi all

I just checked my Magnolia installation and it uses about 115 MB of space on the disk (Windows, "real size" is 15 MB) just for the magnoliaAuthor instance. I realise this is because of the many files that jackrabbit generates for the repository.

Does anybody have config files to use Magnolia / Jackrabbit with MySQL? Wouldn't that result in better performance and lower disk space usage?

Regards,
Simon

The next version of Magnolia will come out with Derby DB. This solution is even better than a pure relational DB, as Derby is able to store real files on the FS instead of serializing them.
