not really! I can type the internal URL in the box and I can use the
browse button to locate the internal page and fill the box with its
correct location! Now, the problem is that Magnolia ignores this saved
URL value and is using the top URL in the file system tree instead!

Hope now the problem is clear?
Think so. Since I never heard about such a problem before I'm wondering where the problem could be:
- does the bug appear if you do so in a new page / paragraph?
- can you try it in our online demo (to test if it is your installation/system or something browser specific)

Thanks

Ok.... let's see if I'm reading this right:

You want to add a link in fckEditor, so you type some text, click on
the
link button and a new dialog pops-up.
Choose magnolia for the protocol to reference an internal page
You can't type in the edit box. Have you tried the browse button?
After saving (with no link and only a magnolia protocol set) you find a
link that points to the Magnolia site root instead of where you wanted
it.

Outside of not being able to type in the edit box for the URL location,
sounds like it's working perfectly. Try using the Browse button to
choose a page to link to.

Hi,

When I'm using a default template and try to create/edit a text, you
also
have the possibility to insert/edit a link via the embedded
FCKEditor.
In
that case a new window appears and on the left hand side you can
define
the
protocoll for that link.
Now, when I would like to point to an 'internal' URL and choose the
"magnolia" protocol, the dialog does allow me to enter the link and
after
saving the changes, someone would expect that the system will store
the
correct entry. Well, that's not the case. Without any error or
warning
message, Magnolia is ALWAYS referring to the top internal URL of the
specific tree!

Is the above a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your support
