Now when I shutdown tomcat, the .lock files are gone. After startup
they are back. I think this is correct?
Okey. On startup tomcat initialises the magnoliaPublic two times. The
first time without any problems, the second time with the warning of
existing .lock files. That's clear because they were created some
seconds before.
So why is tomcat initialising the magnoliaPublic two times?

Are you using some special context definition in your tomcat so that Tomcat thinks that you are
having 2 magnoliaPublic instead of one?
