As suggested before, simply rename the webapp .war or folder. Then reconfigure the activation section of siteAuthor and site to reflect the new webapp name.

hi this is a newbie question that has probably been asked before, but I
can't find anything like it in the archive:

I don't wish to have magnoliaAuthor appear in the URL, so how doe I rename the magnoliaAuthor webapp so that it doesn't but have it function as normal?

I wish to have localhost:8081/siteAuthor and the public instance be
localhost:8081/site.

I how can I achieve this?

I'm using 2.1.4.

Paul
