Also, are you using the same libraries that I used on the example? And very important, is the Magnolia version you are using the same version that is stored on the repository? I say this because you know that a little change on jackrabbit libraries can make all the things go wrong. This boys are really getting a great job done, but we can expect backwards compatibility. So a little change on the libraries can be very decisive for getting exceptions.
