The directories look good to me:
$ ls -ld repositories/
drwxrwxr-x  6 mores mores 4096 Mar 10 09:04 repositories/
$ ls -ld repositories/*
drwxrwxr-x  5 mores mores 4096 Mar 10 15:39 repositories/config
drwxrwxr-x  5 mores mores 4096 Mar 10 15:40 repositories/userroles
drwxrwxr-x  5 mores mores 4096 Mar 10 15:39 repositories/users
drwxrwxr-x  5 mores mores 4096 Mar 10 15:39 repositories/website
$

The first time it started I was able to login to magnoliaAuthor/ but
the screen had nothing but a background image.

I restarted the application...my previous exceptions are not showing
up, now I am getting new ones:
ERROR  info.magnolia.cms.security.SessionAccessControl

Is anyone else using a non-Sun SDK ?
