Markus
would you like to check it into our SVN as a contribution - this way
others may add/fix issues etc.
Regards
Boris

Hi all-
If just uploaded a first alpha quality version of a groovy shell
Module for Magnolia to
<http://www.braindump.ms/groovyMagnolia/>
It adds a shell like UI to admin central that allows you to type in
and execute Groovy[1] script code.
The GROOVY Magnolia Shell
GroovyMagnolia is a module for the Magnolia Content Management
System that adds a shell interface for the Groovy Language to the
Magnolia Admin Interface.
This can be useful during development, if you want to try out some
aspects of the JCR API or to do bulk changes to your repository.
A Word of Warning
The Groovy Magnolia Shell is still experimental.
You don't want to use it on your live site, and it's a pretty good
idea to make a backup of your repository before you install it.
So far it has only been tested with the latest snapshot release of
Magnolia 2.1.6, Tomcat 5.5 and JDK 1.5.
Also, scripts run through the shell can do anything a JSP or Java
class could do. I.e. fry your repository, format your server's hard
disk, etc.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Download details and install instructions can be found at
<http://www.braindump.ms/groovyMagnolia/>
Let me know what you think about it.
A GROOVY weekend to all of you,
