Well, I got it switched and it's working now. How strange that Derby would cause this whole thing to fail.

We've also had memory issues, but not the same kind of yours (more like this one: http://forum.springframework.org/showthread.php?t=21383), but I don't think that's related. Just wanted to show that both versions can be stopped and started together on one system. I guess your issue is perhaps a conflict between derbyDB and the virtual server. 2.1.3 uses BerkeleyDB. You could try changing your 2.1.5's persistencemanager to BerkeleyDBPersistenceManager. The loss of performance isn't too big, I think. On 4/3/06, Grant D.
