Its hard to tell if you're new or experienced with Magnolia. Have you had activation working on past versions, like 2.1.3? Can you make changes and activate them on the samples site? You're aware that you need to copy your site files & JSP's from the author directory tree to the public directory tree? Are you working with the 'superuser' account unchanged? If not, you're aware that it's a little tricky to get an alternate 'superuser' up and running?
