Hello Laurent & Users, Thank you for the suggesting another way to deploy. Infact I shall try that method too.How I solved the problem was to export both instances as War files. So All my JSPs,tmp folder are bundled with it. 1.Initially I changed the repsoitories.xml(both instance) to the a location in the production server.(So it creates an location for repositories that is empty.) 2.Then exported them as WAR files. 3. Deployed these wars in the production server. 4.Changed the Sender url and the subscriber. 5.Stopped the appliction and restarted the application 6.imported all the dialogs,paragraphs ,templates and webpage to the author instance in the production server. 7. The author instance works and from here I could activate the nodes to public instance..
This way I am able to transfer the author instance to client site. Also in the error javax.jcr.RepositoryException: failed to retrieve item state of item 3d4329b3-d5dd-41b4-bdce-36fbb101fab8, The node reference number denotes version history.
