OK you are right .
But I copy the nodes to facilitate the process of creation new pages of my
site .
the new pages have the same template , and all I do is to change the content
of new pages but the old content is still in the xml file .
I think magnolia do this for the versioning , is it right.

To be able to view (and delete) the content of a node, you need to
select a template for it which displays that content. For instance, a
node made with the TwoColumn template will still _contain_ two columns
of content even if these are not displayed when changing to a single
column template.
To remove the "invisible" content, the template must be changed back
to TwoColumn, and the content must be manually deleted.
I don't really see what the problem is though. If this leads to an
oversized repository I believe you are using nodes the wrong way.
Create new nodes instead of copying old ones.
