Hi,
I've posted a collection of handy tags that I made for a recent project.

The most interesting is one that can generate images of any resolution or compression quality on the fly from an image in a magnolia content node. This is very useful for thumbnails etc. since it means that users only have to upload one high quality version of an image and your JSP templates can use it in any different sizes you want. The tag includes a servlet which regenerates the images on the fly and caches them, so it's very fast.

The collection also includes a couple of tags which are slightly modified versions of the official Magnolia tags : PageIterator and NodeInfo.

PageIterator allows you to iterate through the child pages of any page - unlike the magnolia version this tag can use any page as the root of the iteration (not just the current page) you can pass it a reference to the root page, or an absolute or relative path. Each time through the iteration is can set a context variable to a reference to the currently iterated page, and another context variable to a map of all the nodeData on the page. Another bonus is that this version runs in Magnolia 2.1.5 (and I think in 2.1.3 too - though not sure).

NodeInfo is pretty much the same as the magnolia SetNode tag, except that it's not limited to the current content node - you can refer to any node using a path or by a direct reference.

The website for the tags at the moment is http://www.noodlesource.org/ noodleglue/magtags.html

Let me know what you think,

josh
