"pages that had linked to (unpublished) files from the dms"

What is the dms? How are pages linked to it? I am having this problem with any 
page I create.

I have seen this behavior too - but as far as I recall it was only in  
combination with pages that had linked to (unpublished) files from  
the dms.

The only way to get rid of the cached page(s) was to physically  
remove them from the cache dir on the filesystem.
