Hello Hartmut I remember having the same problem too, it is caused by a bug in RC2, the class name of the tag in the TLD is wrong.
This should already be fixed for the next release, as they told me, however in RC" you have to fix this by hand: To use this tag please correct the following by hand: Locate the file magnolia-taglib-utility\src\main\resources\META-INF\cms-util-taglib.tld And change the package name of the scaled image tag: >From Invalid: <tag-class>info.magnolia.cms.taglib.util.ScaleImageTag</tag-class> To valid: <tag-class>info.magnolia.cms.taglibs.util.ScaleImageTag</tag-class> After this I was able to use it. However I still had problems as I wrote in my mails, because I cannot access the image data correctly.
