I think it's safe to assume that Derby is the problem here. I've had
nothing but trouble with that so-called database since my first early
experiments. ANY db would be better in my opinion!
I really do think that Magnolia should be using http://www.hsqldb.org/
or something similar instead of Derby. It's simply not ready for either
production or your home system.
This is - of course - only the pesonal view of a former Derby user. Take
it for what it is.
