I also noticed this message in magnolia-error.log:

This is strange because my subscriber config has the URL set to be
http://localhost/ircmsPublic. I can telnet to port 80 on the server
and get good html content when for this URL, so the server can
definitely see itself.
Any other ideas?

Trying to activate content shows the "Loading..." message for
