We have found that the contextPath variable is set in the admincentral.jsp
This file is included by the <cms:links> tag.
In the java code we have found this: if (!adminOnly || Server.isAdmin()) { ...
We checked the following on our test site:
- if in the public instance the "admin" property is set to true, then the
MgnlDMS.downloadFile function works fine
- if in the public instance the "admin" property is set to false, then the
MgnlDMS.downloadFile function fails
Could this come from the way we have built the "public" site? We just copied
the author webapp into a new one (say public) and modified the config
(admin=false, modified secureURIL, ...)

Just noticed that on the author website the contextPath variable was set in
admintemplates/js/adminCentral.jsp file.
It seems that this is not called on the "public" site (Firefox doesn't show it)
Any idea?

We have a problem with on a public instance of Magnolia, we can't download
files from the dms, we use the MgnlDMS javascript object provided with magnolia
and we get the following error message: contextPath is not defined
Everythings works fine on the author website what can be different on the
public website
