Well, it wasn't the lock files. Still don't know what was it, but, somehow, in 
my 5th attempt today (lost count yesterday), my repositories started working 
again...

Copied config, started tomcat; stopped tomcat; removed all repos; copied 
config & users; started, stopped, removed; copied config, users & userroles; 
and again for website. On this one, my CPU went to almost 100% usage, and, 
after I got tired of waiting and killed all java processes, reloaded tomcat 
again and magnolia got up and running.

I *definitely* need to rip this Derby off soon!
