Ok. I don't know if Sameer can guide me to which module this bug
relates to, so that I don't have to rebuild all of Magnolia (I have my
personal modifications in there too).
Also it would be a good thing to have a short explanation of the bug
for the sake of other people that had to deal with this. (maybe the
JIRA issue?)

Not sure if it was in RC2, but I had the same problem before, (nothing
todo with JBOSS) and Sameer fixed it in the trunk.
You can try to check out the source code, and see if it is working.
