Magnolia 3.0 Community Edition RC3 released
-----------------------------------------------
Magnolia International is proud to announce the
availability of Magnolia 3.0 RC3, a major step towards the
final release. More than 100 issues have been fixed since
the release of RC2.
The handling of workflow, versioning and subscribers has
been simplified for this release. Specifically, the
Community Edition now only supports a single subscriber, a
standard 4-eye workflow and a single (undo) version, thus
better targeting the intended use case of the Community
Edition, which is non-critical, unsupported installations.
A number of issues in RC3 have already been identified and
will be fixed within the coming days. As always, see
jira.magnolia.info for details of our roadmap.
The Community Edition is now completely mavenized which
allows us to completely automate the releases, thus making
more frequent releases much more likely.
