Hi Salman,
Be careful with the "subscribers stuff" because as far as I can
remember, in the last updates of Magnolia, only one subscriber can be
registered to an Author instance in the Community version. So perhaps
the wiki pages are not up to date with the last versions of Magnolia.

And is this understanding right that if I create several say 3 sites in
one magnolia and in "Config" I create 3 different subscribers (dns
entries), one for each? Do I need to just add subscribers or have to do
other changes.
In severalSites page they say it could be done with apache, can it be
done with tomcat by creating virtual hosts?
