Ok thanks, MgnlUserManager.getUser(String name) is exactly what I wanted,
I will create the JIRA task for both group and role notification Emails.

Or, MgnlUser user = (MgnlUser) MgnlContext.getUser();
(WorkflowUtil.java) I think that's exactly what you want.
