there are other differences between author and public configuration
Are the differences documented? It sounds like I need to bootstrap the
configs for each instance separately, so knowing how they're different
would help.
There are different bootstrap directories for common/author/public,
which, while not making it ultra simple and explicit should at least
make rather obvious what differences there are ;)
