The quickest way, assuming you have a fairly standard installation, should be: - do a quick temporary install of the wars (on another server, or change the names from what you have already) - go into the magnoliaPublic adminCentral (e.g. <server>/magnoliaPublic/.magnolia) - Go to the server node on that instance and export it. - Go into adminCentral on your real magnoliaPublic - import the standard server node data - Manually make any changes that are need for your configuration.
You should then have a working installation that you can activate to again. Hope that helps, Simon On 21/03/07, Narinder Kumar <[email protected]> wrote:
Hi, I was using magnoliaAuthor Admin webtool and accidentally deactivated server (in Configuration tab). Now my MagnoliaPublic instance is deactivated as well and am not able to activate/deactivate any of my pages. Any attempt to activate the server node again throws up following error message : Not able to send the Activation Request : .../magnoliaPublic/ActivationHandler : no contentType How can I get the things working again ? I am using Magnolia 3.0.1 release Regards Narinder ---------------------------------------------------------------- for list details see http://www.magnolia.info/en/developer.html ----------------------------------------------------------------
