Hm... I agree: Upgrading should be hassle free. But hey, we don't
live in a perfect world.
If you don't want to spend 50 something Euros but are a talented
developer (which you must be as contributor to JBoss and Xdoclet) you
could of course write your own upgrade tool. I would guess this is
not much more than an xslt transformation of the 2.1 export file.
We thought about this too... but then decided that 50 euros is way to
cheap to develop our own tool.
