I set up the permissions like this on the website repository:
Read only | Selected and sub pages | /$
Read only | Selected and sub pages | /tmp/fckeditor
Read/Write | Selected and sub pages | /siteone
Read/Write | Selected and sub pages | /docroot
This works for me. Hope it will work for you too.
Cheers,
Will

Betreff: Re: [magnolia-user] css and pics from docroot directory
can't be
found
Here another hint:
I logged in as siteoneuser and it didn't work. So I looked in the
sorce
code
where I found this line for including the main.css
<link href="/magnoliaAuthor/docroot/siteone/css/main.css"
type="text/css"
rel="stylesheet"/>
When trying to open this file directly via the browser I get this
message:
HTTP Status 403 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-------
----
type Status report
message
description Access to the specified resource () has been forbidden.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-------
----
Apache Tomcat/5.0.28
I have no idea why I should not have the right to open this file.
Well as
I
said it works with Superuser and most the time with the sitone User.
When I am logged in with the superuser I can open the css directly
without
problems.
Thank again,
MagMan

What also mieght be interesting is the fact, that a friend of
mine on an
other computer saw the page without css when logging in with
siteone User
while I could see it with the same user. Strange! I still have no
ideas.
Perhaps this meight help also: I remenber one situation when the
styles
and images from docroot/siteone couldn't be shown while it worked
with
the
styles and images from docroot/samples. But where's the different
excepting that this are two directories in the same hirarchy.
Thanks for help

Hey group,
I'm using magnolia 3.0.2. I recognized that *sometimes* the pics
and the
css from docroot can't be found. It realy is just sometimes.
Most the
time it works with the superuser, but not with the siteone user.
But
sometimes it works. The same behaviour on windows and linux.
This is my configuration:
tomcat/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/docroot/siteone/css
tomcat/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/docroot/siteone/imgs
tomcat/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/docroot/siteone/js
In the template .jsp's I wrote:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"
href="${pageContext.request.contextPath}/docroot/siteone/css/
main.css"
/>
I'm absolut helpless.
Anyone already had the same problems?
Do you need some more informations?
Thanks for help,
MagMan
