It depends on your requirements.
You have different options like
1. Use Apache in front and redirect desired URL(s) to https://URL(s)
(nothing to do with magnolia here)
2. magnolia itself is a chain of filters, you can develop a simple
filter which can redirect to https
2. or you can develop your templates in a way that they simply do a
server side redirect to https://currenturl
