I've not seen any temp files make their way into WEB-INF and the tmp folder has been self cleaning for me at least.

It should be safe to delete these files, but only with the magnolia instance stopped. Deleting open files can be problematic if you don't stop magnolia first.

Dear all,

The disk storing our content is almost full. By looking at the different
Magnolia directories we have found a lot of temporary document in the
following directories:
/magnolia/Apache*/webapps/*/tmp/
/magnolia/Apache*/webapps/*/logs/ /magnolia/Apache*/webapps/*/WEB-INF/

I am bit surprised with the WEB-INF directory.

Could somebody please confirm that we can delete the content of /magnolia/Apache*/webapps/*/tmp/
/magnolia/Apache*/webapps/*/logs/

Without any problem.

Many thanks in advance

Gilles
