Hey, that's a good trick, Ralf!

Alternately, though it's not exactly what you were asking for, if you're
doing good separation of semantics and presentation with XHTML and CSS, you
can make a print-only stylesheet that will automatically get substituted
when you go to print a site. If you print out one of our managed pages (e.g.
http://gato.its.txstate.edu/support/release-notes.html) you'll see all the
sidebar and header stuff stripped away, leaving only the content.
