My sites are all hobby sites, and so separation and security have not been an issue for me. I am starting to use magnolia at work, and plan to find all these answers in due course, using the scattered information already available; and I will share any new insights that may come my way. I have a couple of websites in separate Tomcat virtual machines, and one Tomcat virtual machine containing several sites in separate nodes - but I have not separated out templates or permissions yet; all I have done is add a parameter to the call of the simplenavigation tag in the main.jsp templates so that it starts at a level lower, and so only shows the pages for a single website (and CSS changes to handle additional levels). So my present contribution is limited to finalising the business of sorting out tidy URLs whatever the structure used in Magnolia.
