I had a similar problem and my solution was to stop tomcat, then clean the
work folder and start again. Worked for me...

Subject: [magnolia-user] Multiple Magnolia Public Instances Problem

Hi,

I have got a problem that I am trying to publish pages from author
instance to 2 different server. One public instance which is deployed in
Tomcat on the "localhost" and another public instance which is deployed
in JBOSS on another Server "172.23.12.15". But when I publish the page
it appears on the localhost but when I try to access it using another
public instance url which is in Jboss actually it doesn't appear. When I
looked again in the inbox tab in the admin central I found the following
exception.

Can't activate: : Not able to send the activation request
[http://172.23.12.15:8080/magnoliaPublic/ActivationHandler]: no
content-type

Actually what I did in the author instance (which is also in Tomcat)
that I copy the node called "default" which is under Magnolia Admin
Central Page ---> Configuration Tab on the left ----> subscribers and
then again subscribers in the main windows and paste it under
subscribers called "default0" and then I change the value of URL (sub
node of "default0")to "http://172.23.12.15:8080/magnoliaPublic";. The
value of URL (sub node of "default" node) is "http://127.0.0.1:9080/";.

So, it means it publish under local host but not on the other server
"172.23.12.15" which is deployment of Magnolia Public instance under
Jboss.

Any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks.
