Hi all, I'm working with a magnolia installation and can't seem to get any JCR queries to work from the admin panel. From what I've been reading on this list's archives and various XPath tutorials around the internet, I should be able to go to the Tools -> JCR Queries pane in the admin interface, select "website" and "nt:base" in the query section, and issue an xpath query something like:
//[EMAIL PROTECTED] And get results back which contain the data attribute - yet nothing shows up, just a "5ms" or something similar, which I presume is to be a query response time. I have looked in the magnolia error and access logs and can't seem to find any problems or syntax errors or any other logged problems. I Just get a blank screen. I can, however, do a dump of a specific path in the "Dump" section which sits above the query section. I've also tried the following 3 queries and others like them, to no avail: //[EMAIL PROTECTED]:primaryType='mgnl:contentNode'][jcr:contains(.,'the')] //* /* It would seem as if I'm missing something very fundamental, but from what I've read on this list and others, it should "just work". Ultimately I will be using a third-party tool to index data from the JCR based on xpath queries like this, so I am just trying to get my head wrapped around how this works... but so far I have just had zero luck whatsoever.
