I let the page get out of date on the wiki about the LDAP authentication class and how to implement it because of the changes that were happening with Magnolia in development. It isn't a simple, 'drop in a class and go' process, but once it works it is nice to be able to setup users and have them authenticate against their username and password that they use in other applications.
