we've been using uuidLinks in a project with almost 2000 pages for almost nine 
months without any serious problems. the one big disadvantage is: when a linked 
page gets deleted you can only see the uuid instead of the handle in 
uuidLink-dialogs - difficult for reproducing the real targets of broken links.
