exactly. A bit more precise: each content node on the website tree
(that was created by an i18n'd dialog) will contain multiple node
datas, one for each locale:
e.g.
+ page
+ contentNodeCollection
+ 00
- text: "this is the english version"
- text_de: "das ist die deutsche version"
...
HTH.

So, if I understand this correctly, localization is done at the
paragraph level. There is one page and all the paragraphs have
different language modes. Correct?

Happy New Year, Seth!
Thanks for your interest in this. We are reworking our
documentation, and expect this to be documented by the end of next
week.

Happy Holidays Magnolians!
I am trying to understand how the new improved
internationalization works in
Magnolia 3.5 Enterprise. I understand that 3.5 now allows you
manage
multiple language versions of your content in the same tree. I was
expecting to see some option to create an alternative language
version of an
English asset. I went into the configuration menu: server > i18n
content
and set the enabled node to true. I see that German (de) under
locales is
enabled just like "en". I am sure I am missing something and I
can't find
any documentation that covers this.
Thanks,
Seth
