Ok, I think I found a way to get it using just Xpath... I was trying
this last night, but my filtering was wrong:
//element(*,nt:base)/MetaData order by @mgnl:lastmodified descending
and setting a result type to mgnl:content in the repository has the
behavior I want.
Once I integrate it into a working jsp snippet, I'll post it on the
wiki.
