I did not rebuild magnolia. :) I just used the new release and get the sources from svn for myself to see more (comments and sources) when I'm programming.
The problem was the browser cache which resists multiple reloads and 3 different computers :) Hard reload with control + f5 ignored the cache and returns the correct dialog.js.
