When creating new pages using the Magnolia GUI, the page template appears to default to the parent page template.
I have arranged my site as follows: /articles/article1 /articles/article2 /employers/employer1 /employers/employer2 It would be really convenient if new nodes created under article could default to the article template, while new nodes created under employers could default to the employers template. The way I can do this now is to make the "articles" folder be and article and the employers folder be an "employer" but this is an ugly hack that creates other problems. I was hoping there was some attribute on template that allowed me to specify the default template for sub pages (or some similar mechanism).
