I tried to changed the repository location to something outside the war ;
here is my magnolia.properties file
(located at \WEB-INF\config\magnoliaAuthor\)\
magnolia.root.sysproperty=magnolia.root.author
# the directories in which the bootstrap files are searched
magnolia.repositories.home=C:\\repo\\magnolia-author
magnolia.bootstrap.dir=WEB-INF/bootstrap/author WEB-INF/bootstrap/common
On restarting server, i cannot see anything inside C:\repo directory.
Also, i had changed ${wsp.home} in jackrabbit-derby-search.xml to C:\repo\ws
; here i can see some directories created, but it was failing on
authentication.
What's the right way to point the repository (and workspace) to be outside
the war and be independent of server restarts?
Thanks!
You can change repository location to be outside of your war file so it
doesn't get destroyed when you redeploy the webapp.
