We have had this running in production for about six months. It has
worked well for us. We use tomcat for our authoring instance and
websphere for our public instances. Those who manage the servers here
like to keep all of our external facing sites on websphere, but like
the simplicity of tomcat for all of our internal apps. We have
upgraded Magnolia from 3.5.4 to 3.5.8 and also upgraded websphere from
6.1.0.11 to 6.1.0.13 without any issues. Both are minor upgrades
though.

The only issues that we've had really center around custom code (an
LDAP authentication piece). Any other issues we're dealing with are
the same on both tomcat and websphere.

Overall we have found Magnolia runs just as well on websphere as it
does on tomcat.

HTH,

Tom
