Hi all, I have with the following setup: - author and public instance (Magnolia 3.6.1)
Can I have the Observation module enabled (installed) only on the public instance? I copied the corresponding jar in the public app, installed the module and configure the observation listener through the AdminCentral. I used the settings from the other disabled observation listeners (i.e. activateAddedPages), the only change being event types (I guess using "-" means register for all events). I tried to add/edit nodes on the author instance, then activate them, but it doesn't seem like the observation listeners are actually called (I put some log statements to check). How can I test that a certain observation listener is actually called? Can I use the observation mechanism for the purpose described above?
