LOL - just looked up and there on my shelf is that very same ring-binder manual, in its box :-) Heh! - that actually says more about my housekeeping than any feeling of nostalgia ;-) Just finally got around to rendering this image: http://www.spatial.plus.com/Realsoft3D/im_SewerMonster-000-001-018.jpg Still a bit unfinished and cruder than I wanted but what the heck - I was starting to get bored with it. Might eventually get around to coming back to it, like I'm now planning to do with the Michael English inspired locowheel image, also on my website. Might eventually get around to doing some more Michael English inspired pics too, which I've been thinking about for quite a while - I love his advertising and hyper-reality paintings (although he is probably better known for his 1960s/70s posters). Sadly, Michael English died in 2009 but his website is still on-line, at: http://www.michaelenglishart.co.uk/index.html and this seems to be the best place to see some of his work, albeit fairly small images only (there doesn't seem to be many of his images on-line; google finds only a very few, and most of them are his early posters). I can thouroughly recommend his book '3-D Eye', if you can find a copy of it anywhere (I've not seen the other book of his artwork, 'Anatomy of Illusion' but I would imagine it's just as good and probably also worth buying if you can find a copy).
