Amiga died because they would not put a CD ROM in their computer.
After all theses years of incompatibility between generations of computers even
from the same brand, IBM PC + DOS was a blessing.
With a PC you could put everything you want inside, that was not the case with
Amiga.
Before PC you had to wait for Commodore to release their version of the perfect
computer with many compromises.
I hate windows, but have to admit that it imposed a standard for the computer
to take over the world.
Microsoft is the best company for developers, they give all their dev kit for
free.
I love Linux, but it is a mess : no compatibility (KDE, Gnome and others)
I hate Steve Jobs, he never marketed a product that was affordable in 30 years.
Apple computers are not computers, they are toys for the elite to brag about.
I am sory but the best OS would be Linux with Console Only no User interface.
